I can take your project from a scribble on a napkin to a fancy brochure, poster, website... whatever.
I'll even do the scribble for you. How about quality work that's simple, easy on the eyes and will make your chest swell? That's pretty much how I design, and with a barn full of printers, web developers, copywriters, photographers, screen printers, illustrators—that scribble won't be scribble for long.
I LIKE SIMPLE DESIGN. Sorry to shout, but i do. Direct and to the point without too much flair and
useless hoo-ha. I harken back to the day when Mies van der Rohe said "less is more." Actually I was
too young to have been there when he said that, but oh I can imagine. I like Bauhaus (the design school,
not the band). I like Jan Tschichold and "neue typographie."
I still believe in starting with some old fashioned sketches and research if time allows. I'm the guy who annoys dinner parties about how the menu wasn't using true quotes or had 2 spaces after each period.
I've been called a type nazi, "no you don't use a hyphen there, you use an En dash."
I love white space of any color. I try to design with simplicity, intelligence, humor, uniqueness and sometimes with no computer.
